RE-BRAND DNA

Burton teamed up with us to create a new chapter for their much loved Gravis Footwear brand. They wanted something bold that represented their brand DNA.

Creative

We revised the original gravis lowercase logotype into a bold uppercase version. We introduced a new icon, the “IV’ logo that was used to promote the new chapter of the brand in promotions and marketing. The IV logo is purposefully ambiguous while referencing the 4 (roman numeral IV) key areas of surf, snow, skate, and lifestyle while also hinting at the idea of blood or DNA.
