SPARKING BRAND ENGAGEMENT THROUGH COMEDIC STORYTELLING

We teamed up with Cars.com to build on their brand promise of a “No Drama” car shopping experience. They needed an integrated campaign that could engage with customers in high impact ad placements and be flexible enough to highlight the key ways Cars.com makes car buying easier.

FROM FRUSTRATING TO SIMPLE WITH DIGITAL INNOVATION

We improved the shopping experience by focusing on 3 key areas along the buyer’s journey, tailoring our creative to speak to those while adding widgets in our digital ads so shoppers could immediately search for the exact info they need. We enlisted some kooky characters to help show car shoppers how silly it would be not to go to Cars.Com for the best car shopping experience. We executed a national integrated brand campaign, engaging high-impact rich media, and landing page experiences.

SERIOUS CELEBRATION FOR A SILLY CAMPAIGN

Our campaign received praise and recognition taking numerous awards both locally and nationally. We received the best of show and gold for San Diego’s Addy awards. We competed against more than 40,000 entries in the National Advertising Federation regional and national awards to make it to the winner’s circle as the only agency from San Diego ultimately winning 2 golds and 3 silvers for our work on Cars.com.
